Victory/Late shift open thread

Wow.

For all the world, it looked like Alabama was going to lose in Auburn again. Luckily, at the 11th hour, Jalen Milroe and Isaiah Bond hooked up on a touchdown pass that was as improbable as they come.

4th and goal from the 31? Kick Six anniversary, kiss all of our asses.

The Tide has seemingly been immune to playing poorly on the road this season, but for whatever reason they went down to Auburn and lost their minds. Yet again.

There was plenty of officiating nonsense that we can complain about, but that wasn’t the main problem. Blame:

• A terrible busted coverage
• Shanked punt
• Milroe throwing the ball past the LOS in the red zone when he could have walked for a first down
• A missed field goal
• A stupid blindside block by Kendrick Law that made zero difference in the play
• The bad snap returning at the absolute worst time

All’s well that ends well though. Maybe they’ll be talking about this one in ten years eh?

Of course not, because we don’t do that shit.

I have no idea if they have a chance next week, but they’re still alive.

Plenty of football on tonight.
